What Are We Looking For?

We are doing a comprehensive analysis of Wicker Memorial Park and seeking public input on what items need attention and what the priorities should be. We are taking stock of the existing structures, walks, sand volleyball courts, playgrounds, splash pad, and parking to determine their condition and code compliance. We are looking for ways to make improvements to existing facilities, places to add new facilities where the need exists, opportunities to make and improve walking connections, and possibly additional long-term land acquisition.

Wicker Memorial Park has numerous amenities available for regular use. Many of their amenities are freely available, including the outdoor fitness court, park trails, playground, splashpad, and sand volleyball courts. Their banquet halls, bikes, and picnic areas are available for rental. Their dog park and golf course are available primarily on a membership basis.
