What are we looking for?

The Arboretum wishes to develop a comprehensive plan that leverages our existing facilities, history, and connection to nature to better serve our community and deliver on our mission.

As a part of the initial phase of the master planning process, the design team will inventory existing structures, trails, parking areas, utilities, and other amenities to determine their condition and code compliance. The design team is looking for ways to make improvements to existing facilities, exploring opportunities to add new facilities where the need exists, and identifying opportunities to expand current programming.

This Master Plan will be a collaborative process with input from and updates to the staff, the Stanley W. Hayes Research Foundation Inc. Board of Directors (BOD), the Hayes Arboretum Community Outreach Board, as well as major donors and community members.
